(like POVR = player overall rating, PAWR = player awareness, etc) while some of other column names I didn't recognize and had to research them. Many of the 4 letter columns are recognizable right off the bat, and you will recognize some of these from the options in-game. I have found descriptions of most of these fields 4 letter columns on these forums thanks to the Madden PC community. In this PLAY section (player information) of the roster file, you can research what each of the 4 letter columns (like PGID, PPOS, etc) stand for. ![]() Since "player names" are not listed here through the Madden editor, player names only seem to be editable in-game. ![]() PLAY is the long list of all the thousands of players in the game, however since there is not a section in here that shows the player names as you might expect, at first it's a little hard to figure out which player is which in the long list, but through some research understanding what the columns are, you should be able to narrow it down and determine which player corresponds to which player ID in that PLAY section. If you open an actual roster file, you will see 3 sections : "DCHT, PLAY, and TDYN". Many of the un-compressed NCAA PS2 files are viewable with Madden PC editors. Since we've gotten some questions about editing rosters, I want to share what I've accomplished so far and provided an update. i dont think all the field names match madden pc but that file is completely uncompressed to begin with so roster editing should be straight forward with even a csv editor. There is a huge PLAY table or something like that visibile in the madden pc db editor. H4wduk3n wrote:Regarding rosters, this one is pretty simple: open template.dat.
